Tikkun olam through the arts
a note from laura regarding the white house’s first ever initiative to combat anti-semitism
June 27th, 2023
“I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you. In addition to my role as the Executive Director of JArts, I have the distinct honor of serving as the Board Chair for the Council of American Jewish Museums (CAJM). This organization plays a vital role in the White House’s historic initiative to combat anti-Semitism. Together, we have an extraordinary opportunity to create a profound and lasting impact on our society.
At JArts, we have always been passionate about celebrating Jewish arts, culture, and creative expression. Our dedication to these values beautifully aligns with the visionary direction set forth by the White House. We believe in the power of arts and culture to transcend boundaries and ignite change — and we are not alone.
Together with CAJM and the White House, we are taking a crucial step forward in our journey to shape a more inclusive and compassionate society. As a supporter and member of our community, you are key to our collective success in raising awareness, building solidarity, and increasing protection for Jewish communities everywhere.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, let’s make a difference.”
