Hanukkah: the Festival of Lights
Be transported across the globe during Hanukkah: The Festival of Lights, featuring performances by 8 international female artists inspired by 8 objects of Judaica from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston collection.
Since 2015, JArts has brought the Greater Boston community together to celebrate Hanukkah at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Hanukkah: The Festival of Lights reaches thousands of people each year. As we find new ways of celebrating Hanukkah, we will continue the tradition of coming together and partnering with local artists and communities to create an unforgettable evening of performance, education, craft and artistic engagement for all ages.
“This year, we are excited to bring some of the MFA’s Judaica collection to life by pairing beautiful objects with diverse performers and speakers. Some objects are on display, while others are not, so consider this a special collection tour.”
Simona Di Nepi, Charles and Lynn Schusterman Curator of Judaica at the MFA

JCC Association of North America is pleased to present JFest: An Arts Festival for the JCC Movement, offering high quality cultural and educational content for all ages through the Virtual J platform. JFest includes complementary marketing materials and resources to deepen connections and help build resilience in JCC communities throughout the movement.
Throughout the year, JFest programs will explore three core themes of storytelling: How to Tell Your Story, How Others Tell Our Story, and How History Tells Our Story. Through dynamic programs and partnerships with Artist-Educators from around the world, JFest invites you to tell your own story, and keep us connected even when we’re apart.
JFest programs are made possible through funds granted by The Covenant Foundation with additional support from The Pertzik Fund for Arts and Culture.
