“Community is so important to me. I feel very connected to my communities, both as an artist and creative in the Dominican Republic and in my neighborhood of Jamaica Plain. As an artist who chose to stay in Boston to work and create, I want to contribute in any way I can to the growing artist community here. I have collaborated with organizations such as Urbano Project and Hyde Square Task Force. I am also an active committee member of the Latin Quarter Advisory Committee, where we work to preserve our neighborhood and protect Latinx and POC-owned businesses.”
