About Shanna

Shanna Zell is a singer-songwriter turned cantor who performed original compositions with her band, Shanna & the Zellots before pursuing a cantorial career. She incorporates classic Americana into her worship while drawing upon the rich lineage of chazzanut (cantors) and the robust canon of Jewish music. Shanna currently holds a position at Temple Beth Elohim of Wellesley, where she helps lead services and directs the high school T’fila band.
