About Tova
Tova Speter is a local artist, art therapist, art educator, and arts consultant based in Needham. All of her work is based on her belief that engaging in art-making is inherently therapeutic and formative. Tova has worked in the intersection of arts and the Jewish experience for the past 20 years, facilitating meaningful Jewish art experiences and working as a consultant helping organizations infuse more arts-based experiences into their programming.
How You Can Work Together
“The scope of my work ranges from facilitating art workshops to consulting with community organizations on ways to incorporate the arts into their programming, as well as directly engaging various groups in creating collaborative murals. I enjoy the process of helping others share their voice through the layers of meaning and metaphor embedded in the art they design and create, and I strive to provide “perspective-shifting” opportunities for individuals and groups to find the connection, talent, and pride they may not yet be aware that they possess. My extensive experience includes working with groups of all ages and abilities (i.e. CJP, local Jewish Day Schools, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters, Women’s Philanthropy, Boston-Haifa Connection, local congregations, Hebrew SeniorLife, 2Life, JFCS, JCC, Parenting through a Jewish Lens, PJ Library and more).”
