Celebrating the New Shared Hebrew College Campus
This Season marks the opening of the new shared Hebrew College Campus on Washington St. In Newton. While JArts is not one of the nine organizations to be housed on campus, JArts will play a curatorial role in arts offerings across the campus.
The new Musicant Cohen Center for Performing Arts at Ordis Hall is a feature of the campus, and JArts is proud to support the development of this space to become an epicenter of Jewish life and creativity – and a model of what can be when the arts are used to drive collaboration.



This season, we are proud to co-present two inaugural performances in
the Musicant Cohen Center for Performing Arts at Ordis Hall:
DIVAHN CONCERT
Thursday, March 2nd 2023 at 7 PM
Divahn concert to dedicate the new Musicant Cohen Performing Arts Center at Ordis Hall. Divahn is a 5-woman band led by world renowned Middle Eastern vocalist and composer, Galeet Dardashti.
Joey Weisenberg Concert
Wednesday, May 17th 2023 at 7 PM
Hadar concert featuring Joey Weisenberg, a musician, singer, composer, and Founding Director of the Rising Song Institute. This concert is presented in partnership with Rabbi Elie Lehmenn, a graduate of the Hebrew College Rabbinical School, former Campus Rabbi and Chaplain at Boston University of five years, and current Director of Hadar Boston.
